Paris. October 14th. 10 am – 7 pm. PhotoCineRent hosts a Journée Portes Ouvertes (Open House) to introduce Sony’s F65 Camera. Peter Sykes and Richard Lewis from Sony Europe are personally hand-carrying a pre-production model to the event for demos and discussions.
Rainer Hercher of Band Pro Film & Digital will be at the Open House with Leica Summilux-C lenses.
PhotoCineRent has been named official F65 Authorized Distributor in France. Albrecht Gerlach, head of PhotoCineRent, explained, “We committed to having a backup camera on hand for customers, providing demos and training, and having a Sony OLED BVM-E reference monitor available.”
The F65 is Sony’s new 35mm digital motion picture camera. It has true 4K output derived from a 20 Megapixel 16:9 sensor, and can record to iPhone-size SRMemory cards (up to 1 TB) in its on-board SR-R4 Recorder. Sony presented the camera at IBC and in Hollywood this September. Prices in our ASC-DGA article are for US models; Euro prices are different.
